Born and raised in the South Carolina Lowcountry, Allen Cramer is a career firefighter/EMT with over 30 years of service. He became dive certified in 1999, because his brother needed a dive buddy. It didn’t take long for him to fall in love with the underwater world and he received his dive instructor certification in 2001. Since then, he has certified more than 500 students and logged more than 3,000 dives (he’s stopped counting). When he isn’t at the fire station or teaching, he loves to travel and explore new places – both above and underwater. In the winter, you’ll find him skiing in Colorado and every summer you’ll find him diving somewhere.
